Nell'orto Let us try to stand in the vegetable garden, turning our gaze and keeping our hands busy to extract as much variety as possible from the remnant of land, temporarily removed from the wild forest and the unstable dimension of the slope. Simple to the visitor's eye, the garden's order is the result of a rich selection that makes the place a great condenser not only of work but of meaning, and the gardener a free beater. Who knows if the horizon of the family garden might not be an interesting vantage point of mountain communities, agriculture and planetary conservation? For us, it is. It is from these considerations that this book was born.
